I want a strong military that can kick some serious butt, but I also want to make sure they are always loyal to the Constitution and the duly elected President. Extremism has to be rooted out. Soldiers have to have enough knowledge of the law and the constitution to know when orders are unlawful. We've done a really good job of this since WWII, but taking to coworkers who have served recently, we may be slipping.
