The Democrats Are Trying to Hide a Very Dirty Secret About Electric Cars

Where do you think these lefty's are going to get the power to recharge them from? I'll tell you... Coal Fired Plants will need to provide the electricity......

The Democrats Are Trying to Hide a Very Dirty Secret About Electric Cars

The Left views electric cars like the Rings of Power. It’s predictable but also pathetic. Driving electric cars saves the environment, says the left-wing drone. It emits next to nothing regarding carbon emissions, except that it does.

Instead of a sign that says "Do Not Disturb" I need one that says "Already Disturbed Proceed With Caution."

Electric cars are good.
Ideally nuclear plants would power them.
My fellow southpaw Mark Brunell will probably always be my favorite Jaguar.

The idea of them is good, the batteries and technology are not there yet.

You are supposed to care for the battery, meaning don't charge it above 80%, don't drain it too much so 20%. The battery also quickly loses some capacity when you start using it. So you have <60% within the 1st month of using it. Then all the charging time and finding a charger. Climate effects it a lot and sitting in traffic drains it with the a/c or heat running.

Hybrid should be the way to go right now for most people.

I completely agree.  Hybrid cars work great and can be fun to drive.  They are even starting to make hybrid sports cars.  We have a hybrid. If we got an electric, it would be great for commuting, but we would need a bigger hybrid or conventionalcar for more long-range trips.

I would love to get one of these one day, but damn they are a bit expensive.

I would get a hybrid but they stopped making most of them. Everything is full electric now and keeps you stuck and in their control.

Doesn't the United States already have a negative 60% output of electricity?

Meaning, we import most of the energy we take in.

In order for Electric Vehicles to be even remotely plausible we need nuclear plants... at least 200 of them.

They are actually making more hybrids than ever.  5% of all new cars are hybrids, that's a record high.
The just don't stay on the lot when gas is $4 a gallon, that's all.  You have to be lucky and patient to get one.  And you probably have to pay what they ask.

I’m currently driving a hybrid minivan and I love it.
