Nevertheless, getting attacked is what comedians can expect moving forward.  It's the next logical step from being assaulted on social media for hurting someone's feelings with their comedy.  I think the only popular comedians from the past that might be able to navigate these times would be George Carlin, Steve Martin, Richard Pryor and maybe Lenny Bruce; tho he wouldn't have the same shock value today.  Oh, and Sam Kinison, cause he wouldn't give a [BLEEP], he would just buzzsaw thru all the sociopolitical crap and just burn it down.  Wish he was still here to make it happen.  It would be a thing of beauty.

Straight truth.

I don't watch awards shows but I watched the clip of the last one Ricky Gervais hosted where he roasted everyone and it was awesome. Not Sam Kinison level epic, but pretty epic in its own right. I enjoy movies and TV shows but these people are way too ridiculous for me waste my time on otherwise.

That Ricky Gervais one was a thing of sheer beauty!
What in the Wide Wide World of Sports is agoin' on here???

ABOUT US
The Jungle Forums is the Jaguars' biggest fan message board. Talking about the Jags since 2006, the Jungle was the team-endorsed home of all things Jaguars.

Since 2017, the Jungle is now independent of the team but still run by the same crew. We are here to support and discuss all things Jaguars and all things Duval!
