Drake London refuses to Run a 40

I have long contended he could not separate vertically against NFL CBs.  The above adds additional doubt about his ability to do so.

If he's healthy and sufficiently fast, why wouldn't he run a 40?

Worst to 1st.  Curse Reversed!

"Everybody has six to eight weeks, a couple months to really train for that, whether it's broad jump or vertical," London said of his decision to not run the 40-yard dash. "I was just trying to get back running."

Drake London is going to be a star in this league. Although I agree in general such a stance is concerning, however, I think it's understandable in this instance.

Drake London reminds me so much of Marques Colston. He was a big, beefy WR as well who didn't get a lot of separation either and had very average speed, but he consistently made plays every week and was one of the most feared WR's in the NFL in his day. He's still the all-time Saints receiving leader with 9759 yards.
