Very good trade

We moved from 33 to 27 and didn't give up either of our  3rds.

We gave up our 4th round pick and 180 (?) and got Devin Lloyd).

Assuming we hit on Walker, our defense got a lot better with these two.

Worst to 1st.  Curse Reversed!

If they can find a good WR in round 3, I’m in for this draft.

It’s not what I would have done but I can get behind it.

More importantly Lloyd is a leader. Great pick.

Most of my talk has been about the depth and flexibility/versatility drafting Neal and Ekwonu would give to our offensive line.

Assuming they hit on Walker, they have effectively done the same with the defense, especially the LBs.

I think Lloyd plays primarily inside, but has rushed plenty of times from the edge in college.  That could give us five decent to good edge players:

Allen
Walker
Smoot
Key
and Lloyd.

I feel much better about the first round now than I felt immediately after the Walker pick.

Still needs help for Trevor Lawrence now....but a decent day 1.

Rember it takes time to build winners. the way jags defense has been over the years, not great ,espaissley on 3rd downs, opposeing team gets first down almost all the time.

Eagles had a stout defense. I think thats what penderson has in mind, build the defense first.  Have a ok to just above average offense this year, and get the d put togather.

I was wrong about jags first pick, not who i was hopeing for,but hes a postion jags needed on defense. theres still more rounds, but i am pleased with first 2 picks so far.

snowwolf titans owner in madden.

note titans owner means im undeafted againest them.

I will be praying hard to give like 65 and a couple 6ths to move up to 50 and get Alec Pierce tonight.

It's going to be interesting if you think about this new defense. The secondary is good. Linebackers good. D-line good.

Is Wingard our only glaring weakness on defense now?

The Defense absolutely got better tonight.

Tomorrow should be where they address some Offense. IOL, WR and TE could/should be in play.

He's not that much of a weakness if Cisco beats him out like many of us believe.

Very cool move.

At this point the 2nd safety is pretty much the only missing element on defense if these guys stay healthy

Excited about this defense's potential
