im confused.  they moved down from 12 to 32, and 46 to 66, and all they got was the 34th pick?

is that a hose job?

They did what everyone was saying we should do at 1, trade down even if it was a loss on paper. It was heavily believed that Cine would have gone 17 if the Texans took Zion instead of Kenyon. They got a damn good player, a significant upgrade in the 2nd round, and a 3rd rounder. Definitely light compared to historical 1st round trades, but for this draft it's fine.

Maybe a GM fired?

They passed on Hamilton for Cine while also sacrificing 13% value in the trade to a division rival. The GM either did not know the actual deal that was being agreed to, didn't try to get near a comparable offer from anyone else, or knows something the rest of the league doesn't.
