Saints sign Jarvis Landry

1 year deal. 3Mil base, 6 with incentives.  Solid veteran.  We couldn't afford to take a flyer like this?

Not sure how he would help us though? Quite often injured and it’s not like we’re a wide receiver away from challenging (not that I think the saints are either) I’m happy with what we’ve, I expect to see a lot of quick passes which our current receiving corp seem to fit with.

I doubt we were ever considered a desired destination. Landry is good enough to choose between a few suitors.

What we need is a fast X receiver. Landry is a possession receiver. The Jags already have the Joneses, Marvin and Zay, filling that role. At this point, I think Landry is just a name. He has good hands, but he doesn't take the top off a defense.

the goal is to get younger while also getting better. I don't know that the Aints have a plan in place, but Landry is a bandaid. We are looking for cinder blocks to build upon, not some mortar to seal a crack.

in a year, the Aints still have a WR-sized hole that needs to be filled.

outside of the nightlife, I don't know that I'd say NOLA was a prime destination. It may have been that he had few suitors to choose between.
