Even more College censorship.... AKA: Liberal BS

Here Are The List Of Words You’re No Longer Allowed To Use At This University
Brandeis University is a liberal arts college located outside of Boston in Waltham, Massachusetts. The college, known for its liberal tendencies and policies, has just released a list of words that will no longer be tolerated in the institution. The words, which include many common phrases and words, including “picnic,” are now banned for both students and faculty at the Massachusetts college. https://awm.com/here-are-the-list-of-wor...Fjqz8U0mNo ![]() We show less advertisements to registered users. I'll take a shot at this..
Trigger Warning: As a rule of thumb, at a picnic, don't go off the reservation. Did I kill it?

We should ban the entire English language. English was spoken during many acts of racism and violence towards women and minorities, and has been used to disparage LGBTQX people all throughout history.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------- Okay, I hate to be a spoilsport, but I looked up the banned word list, and, to my great disappointment, because it was enjoyable to make fun of, Brandeis says the suggested word list is a student project and not university policy. https://www.brandeis.edu/parc/accountabi...elist.html But if you want a good laugh, here is the actual list: https://sites.google.com/brandeis.edu/pa...categories

So let me take a 'crack' at this:
Oppressive Language: Possible Alternative: Prostitute Miley Cyrus Mentally Ill Amber Heard, Demi Levato Addict Johnny Depp Abusive Relationship Johnny and Amber, Kanye and Kim You know, I'm going to date myself here, but I remember the day when being called Black (capitalized or not) was racist and African-American was embraced. Now its flipped. I'm told all these policies are 'progressive', but..... Same with 'Hard of Hearing' and 'Deaf'. Deaf was bad back in the day, now it's baaaack. Of course, if you don't mouth it correctly to a Deaf person, it might get misinterpreted anyway.

We should just ban all white people, then we could give them what they're really after. “An empty vessel makes the loudest sound, so they that have the least wit are the greatest babblers.”. - Plato

Give them some time....it'll get incorporated. This is just a lazy woke professor's way of getting the students to do their work for them. Can I say 'lazy'? Or would that be 'motivationally challenged'?
