Can't blame him too much. If I were married to her, I'd probably want to be drunk all the time.

The Greek Prime Minister probably brought him some uzo.

That's ridiculous. The guy is 82 years old and he's filthy rich, so what the hell is he doing even driving at all?

I guess one could say he was " Hammered "  once again?

It will be interesting to see how the court handles the criminal. If he's released per their no-cash bail it looks bad because they released a violent criminal. If they actually keep him in custody it looks bad because it screams 'privilege' or double standard.

If it goes sideways the progressives and anyone else voting for these idiots only have themselves to blame.

From what I'm hearing now, the guy is a known loon in the area. I'm sure the dems will still milk it for all it's worth.

I think this is more theater than anything. You don't get assaulted with a hammer and recover just fine. It sounds like the cops were already at the house and the guy tried to wrestle a hammer away from Mr. Pelosi and they stopped him. I could be wrong, but unless they release photos of Pelosi black and blue, this just seems like a manufactured news story.

It's being reported he just came out of surgery for a broken skull.

This is getting weird.

So he wasn't attacked until the police get there. Either both of them had a hammer or just Pelosi. Police then allow him to get Pelosi's hammer and then let him hit Pelosi in the head causing him to supposedly need surgery. Oh and the guy was in his underwear.

Police don't come in guns blazing for someone attacking the 2nd in line to be president husband? They show up, let the guy in his underwear get a hammer and then attack Pelosi before they do something? No personal security around? Are they going to provide security camera video to show him breaking in?

Remember reports of the car wreck all showed someone else was in the car and then it started getting removed. Rumors were it was an underage girl. Now this? Who called 911?

If that's true, I will recant what I said. Most articles said everyone was going to make a full recovery. I have a hard time that would be casually thrown around if someone had their skull bashed in.

Looks more like a frame job than anything to me.  By that I mean him trying to frame the right days before an election.

Watch out tonight everyone.

The 911 dispatch calls said said the caller said they didn't know who it was but that they were a friend and thought his name was David.

Looking more and more like it's not a break-in. I'm wondering if we next find out the hammer isn't made to hammer nails.

This totally needs to be a Tarantino film..

Seriously, the only thing missing is The Gimp from Pulp Fiction..

Or maybe, the gimp hasn't been reported yet?

I forgot about the ropes or whatever else they claim he was going to use to try and tie Pelosi up with. We'll hear about some pink fluffy handcuffs soon.

Someone opened the door when the police arrived, so a 3rd unknown person was involved.
He had to go to the hospital and is still there but the police won't say what treatment he needed.
Elder abuse requires some type of relationship or caregiver.
The glass on the door is broken on the outside and appears to be bulletproof or laminated to stop this.

Paul Pelosi secretly called 911 while in front of the intruder and spoke in 'code' to dispatcher to convey what was happening: 'Why are you here? What are you going to do to me?' (msn.com)

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's husband was attacked by an intruder at their San Francisco home Friday.

Police said Paul Pelosi was somehow able to make a 911 call during the incident.

The 911 dispatcher knew something was wrong based on what she could overhear and alerted police.

The San Francisco Police Department confirmed during a press conference on Friday evening that Paul Pelosi, husband of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, was somehow able to call 911 before being attacked with a hammer, allowing dispatch to respond.

Police Chief William Scott said when officers arrived Paul Pelosi and the attacker were standing in the entryway to the home, each holding onto the hammer.

Confirmation that Paul Pelosi made a 911 call came after media reports said he had secretly called 911 so that the intruder would not know and spoke in a way that would alert the dispatcher to what was happening without giving himself away.

Sources told the Los Angeles Times Paul Pelosi told the intruder he needed to use the bathroom and called 911 after stepping away, leaving the line open. The Times reported dispatcher Heather Grimes overheard Paul Pelosi and the intruder talking and alerted police to the situation...
