Man Headed to Shooting Range Stops to Rescue a Kitten in the Road, Ends Up with 13

Robert Brantley, a professional shooter from Louisiana, was headed to the range on Tuesday after work when a very small creature changed all his plans.
As he took the backroads going about 40 mph, he passed a kitten-shaped blur and went back to check on the little thing.
He left his car running as he got out to save the kitten, but as he filmed the rescue, the situation became more complicated.

Yea, this must be fake news because gun owners couldn't possibly be kind hearted animal lovers. Cause you know, gun owners are all about TAKING life with those wicked weapons.

Except NPR carried the story 3 days earlier.  Oops.

3 days earlier than what?  The video was posted on the June 8.

Gorgeously ironic that Brantley's insta page has changed from guns and ammo to kittens and puppies.

Why not go full fake news and change his insta title from Long Range shooting, predator hunting to cute kitten adopter and honorary member of the ASPCA.

We own guns and do cat rescue and/or TNR (trap, neuter, return) in our neighborhood. Our cat who just died 3 weeks ago was a rescue we had for four years. Our outside cat is a friendly feral who was born under our house. His mama died about 6 months later. We feed and water him and made sure he was neutered. Many in the cat rescue groups here are conservatives who likely own guns. Actually most of the conservatives here DO own guns.

So shut your dang mouth about stuff you know nothing about.

Here's your awesome liberal animal lovers denying homeless animals adoption to second amendment rights supporters.

The thing she and so many of you people get wrong is it's possible to be both a 2A supporter and a gun reform supporter depending on the scope of the reform.

I get why she would never want anyone to own a gun given her sister's murder and her own brush with a mass shooter, but that doesn't make her the decision maker for others.

Most of the fees we pay for our hunting/fishing license go to conservation efforts to maintain the land we hunt on and the preservation of the habitat where the wildlife we hunt for live, and to maintain the waterways, and stock them with fish so we can enjoy that activity. Then when you figure in the taxes we pay for our firearms and ammo, fishing gear etc, well, that all adds up real quick with the amount of people that hunt and fish out there. So, we are pretty much financing everything associated with out hobby either directly or indirectly. Even when hunting season is over and done with, the land is still maintained for others to enjoy it, people like camper, hikers, nature lovers, etc. So not are we only financing our way of life, we are financing the conservation efforts out there for every one to enjoy this wonderful thing called "The Great Outdoors"

Yeah, can't remember the actual numbers, but it's not even close: Firearm owners give more than any activist group.
