If your on the fence about who to start, just let me know and I'll give a pretty quick response.

Even if you don't take my advice, it might help you some where down the line on your way to a championship.

I won the championship 3 years straight, so this year I'm taking a season off bc the guys won't let me play.

Let me know what type of league you're in. Then let me know the players and team they are facing.

I'll be checking back right up until kickoff tonight!

Ok I'll bite, I have been offered a trade in my league and it would be nice to here someone elses point of view. For background my league is 1qb, 2 wr, 2 rb, 1 te, kicker, defence, 4 bench (and an auction draft if that matters).

My team:

Qb: tyrod taylor

Wr: Antonio Brown, AJ Green, Emmanuel Sanders, Allen Hurns

Rb: Todd Gurley, Matt Jones, Gio Bernard, Deangelo Williams, Christine Michael

Te: Travis Kelce

His team;

Qb: Rodgers, Newton

Wr: cobb, D Thomas, Fitz, Watkins, M Floyde

Rb: D Johnson, R Mathews, T West

Te: J Reed

His offer is: Aaron Rodgers and Randal Cobb for my AJ Green (would have to drop Tyrod to make space)

It makes sense for him as he has two stud qbs and it could kinda make sense for me but as he is in a little bit of a tough position with have a stud qb sitting on the bench each week, I feel like it is an opportunity to maybe get a little more in return on my end.

Do you think I should take this trade? Reject it outright? Or make a counter?

I was considering making the counter: Rodgers, Cobb, Reed for Tyrod, Green, Kelce.

Any insight?

I would take that trade in a heartbeat. Rodgers/Cobb combo is deadly. Especially when AJ is the only WR in Cincy now.

Even after AJs big day I'd still take it. How are Tyrod's 5 points treating you?

OK so here is my answer to this.

Since you have a beast WR roster, you have room to work with. It seems as though he is looking to dump Rodgers. However he is lurking around to nab one of your best players.

AJ Green went Hambone against Revis in week 1.

I would counter with Hurns...

If he declines, then go ahead and take the deal.

Remember, he doesn't need Rodgers since he has Newton. Go for the counter with Hurns. If he declines, then you have to take the deal. Rodgers is more valuable than Taylor. And you still have a beast WR line up even without Green.

Hope that helps.

Sorry for the delay. I was starting to think nobody wanted any insight for week 1.

I'll be checking back often to see if anybody needs advice.

Ok guys, week 1 is in the books.

AJ Green went hambone. Brown went crazy.

And Deangelo Williams at 33 years young, and Spencer Warehouse were not owned in 99 percent of leagues.

Pick them up off the waivers for a nice flex for a bye or injury down the line.

Chris Hogan and Mike Wallace may also pay off in that same scenario.

I'm officially open for a Shaub questions regarding fantasy.

No need to call 1010, when you can just put your question here.

Williams and Ware are good starts for now. Their production drops when Bell and Charles return. If you have room to stash them in case of injury, fine. But wouldn't eat up a crucial roster spot or drop a starter.

As far as ARod and Cobb for Green? I'd do it.

Survivor league advice. How does everyone feel about Detroit over Tenn? I don't like to use all my good teams early when there is an opportunity to use bad teams.

I like Detroit over Tennessee. Matt Stafford can still sling it. Marriotta is playing very limited due to Henry and Murray.

Tennessee has a very good run defense but average pass defense.

I have a question regarding a fantasy, but it is not football related. Blush

In Detroit? I'd take the chance. Hell, they best Indy on the road. I'm picking the Lions pool wise.

Yeah, just worried about a letdown game after a big win. It is Detroit after all. I'm going to try not going to over think this one though.

One thing to keep an eye on before making the pick is the practice status of DeAndre Levy on Thursday and Friday.   Levy didn't practice on Wednesday.    Though the Lions have the ability to win this game even w/o Levy,   the risk w/o him would increase at least to some extent.

StroudCrowd, updating what I mentioned early this morning,   Lions D-Coordinator Teryl Austin said he expects to have DeAndre Levy against Tennessee:

 My pleasure.

Unfortunately,  DeAndre Levy missed his 3rd straight practice today.   Based on this,  there's a good chance he won't play against the Titans.  With the speedy Marcus Mariota on the other side of the ball,  not having a relatively healthy Levy is a major concern on this end.   Though I still believe the Lions will win the game,  my confidence level certainly is lower.

Should I trade

Jeremy Hill/Marvin Jones for Charles

Or

Winston/Langford for Charles

In a standard scoring no keeper league
