I attribute it mostly to over-coaching. "Hey, Chase is out, they probably figure we are gonna throw all day, so let's try to grind them to a paste with a run game instead!" "This is an obvious passing down, so QB draw it is!"

Meanwhile, fans throw their hands to the sky and order more wings.
