Another of my boyhood heros gone. Still remember to this day watching the 1970 SB where the Chiefs rolled the Vikes 23-7 in the muddy slop in New Orleans. Len Dawson, Otis Taylor, Mike Garrett, Buck Buchanan, Curley Culp, Willie Lanier. That was a great team. Had the Jets not shocked the world the year before, the Chiefs would have gone down in history as the 1st AFL team to win a SB beating the unbeatable Vikings with Kapp and the Purple People Eaters/Purple Gang.
