Would you take Josh Gordon at vet minimum?

If Kansas City cuts him, would you take him at the absolute minimum, if you knew for a fact he wouldn’t get into any off field trouble or be a distraction?

How in the world would you know if he’s not going to get into any off the field trouble when that’s all that he’s done?

In a perfect world yes of course. I think any team in the NFL would be willing to take up that offer. But it is not realistic at all. Josh Gordon is definitely going to have off field issues for the rest of his career.

I don't know. He's 31. He hasn't played any meaningful football since 2018 (!). He's been suspended 3 times since then for violating NFL Drug policy. He's had a knee injury during that long time off. At this point, I'd just as soon take Antonio Brown as I would Gordon. He's only mentally afflicted. At least Brown has been somewhat productive during that same time frame. So, final answer, no.

I know there is 0% the Jags sign Brown and Gordon, but if they did…the opposing team’s secondary would be more worried than our current group of receivers. But hey we got starvin marvin.

Atleast we won’t have to worry about off the field issues.

No, he's 31 and isn't close to the same player he once was with all the time he's missed

If he was close to the player he once was, he wouldn't be getting cut.

On the plus side, the reasons he's been suspended wont get him suspended anymore lol

no.

I honestly don't feel the need to expound on that answer, it says it all.

it's like betting on the Washington Generals....they're due for a win!!!

He's due for a season with no suspensions, injuries or bad press....right?  Right!?!?!?!?! Why are you laughing?

It's another one of those could have been. The jags know all about it with Blackmon.

Always found it weird how Josh Gordon got so many chances, and it seemed like Blackmon messed up twice, and was perma banned from the NFL. Gordons been in trouble what, 7 or 8 times?

Gordon kept applying for reinstatement, Blackmon didn't. He wasn't perma banned, he just didn't care enough/want to play football anymore.

A true shame because he could have/would have been so good.

Blackmon at least had the good sense to not try multiple comebacks. He either didn't care about football, or knew he would regress and fail again and didn't want the public hassle/humiliation. Football fans in general (not Jags fans) will remember Gordon's failures more than Blackmon's.

Yeah Blackmon just didn’t want to play anymore or he would have tried to get reinstated. He would have broke some of Jimmy’s records.
