Popeyes said employees at the Atlanta restaurant were provided with 'retraining' and the homeless man was given food for free

A woman attempting to purchase food for a homeless man from a Popeyes store in Atlanta, Georgia, had the police called on her.

Jo Ortega, a student at Georgia State University, said she was picking up an order for DoorDash at the Popeyes location last month when she saw a man who seemed hungry.

I was “hearing it”, not reading it.  I thought it was a black guy.  Is there Popeyes up north we’re they have black ice? Serious note, when driving through Chicago in the winter, do watch out and prepare yourself for black ice.

There has to be a back story on this. The homeless problem is bad there and there were tons of robberies and worse around GT and GSU. Not sure if the cops ever did anything or not. Guessing this wasn't their first interaction with him or others. Popeyes also doesn't usually hire the best employees though.
