2 big unsung heros against the Colts

#1

Gotsis and Roy Robison Harris had monster games in the second half. I saw both of these guys living in the backfield the whole 4th quarter
Anyone else deserve praise not showing up in the highlight reels?

This is true, I believe each had a sack. Very impressive from these two.

Adam Gotsis is to this team what Paul Spicer was for those mid-2000's teams.

Nice hustle from the two of them. Didn't go unnoticed on my end. Hope this is a sign of the overall roster's talent and depth improving already with coaching.

We miss those Rob Meier, Paul Spicer, Gary Walker and Seth Payne type of role players. Those types of guys close out games for you.

While I agree with the statement, G-Funk was a pro bowl level starter not a role player.

The key to this season seems to be that we're going to throw a dozen different rushers at them from different places all game long. I like it.

True. Forgot Gary had a 10.0 sack season. Was a wee lad then.

Both were amazing yesterday. Everyone was taking turns making plays.
Respect the game.  Play with a sense of urgency.

1.)  Take care of the ball.  Win the turnover battle.

2.)  It's all about 3rd down.  Win on 3rd down to win the game.

3.) Playmakers make plays.  The only reason that you put your uniform on is to make plays. In order to EARN your paycheck, you must make plays.

Learn from the great collapse of 2023.

Walker had a 10 sack season and made the Pro Bowl when it actually mattered. I remember we paid Spicer $33 mill for 2 years for those 7.5 sacks per year.

But yes we do need those role type players.

If they keep playing like that you might be really hot at the end of the year with all that added jag clothes

Wolfie's in Bear's territory if I recall correctly.  Might work out well in December for him.

You better bring the noise for week 3’s hype video. We shut out a divisional opponent and headed into a huge AFC conference showdown out on the west coast.

RRH on Nelson was a big matchup, and he handled him, well... handily.

Yeah. Lageman was praising him today. Said Hamilton probably had his best game yet in the NFL. He was also talking about Walker's overall size and strength and his impact against the ground game.

One thing Travon does, as he done in Georgia as well.  Even if he don't have a sack in the stat sheet, he makes huge contributions in other areas of the game.  Pressures, run D, and even coverage etc.

With the type of game RRH had against Nelson, it will be interesting to see the type of game he has against Feiler who is actually graded much worse than Bartch
