I wanted to tell D6 congralations. your lions have turned the corner 3 game winning streak which was ended by a playoff team whos the 1 seed. you crashed a suckey team like your suppose too. the jags still suck. After all anyteam that loses to a winless team on thier own home field sucks. the last 2 wins jags got were handed to them. I hope your lions can keep winning this season, and make playoffs.

Congratulations D6. The Lions beat that ace and it wasn’t even close. Your guys play with great effort.
Respect the game. Play with a sense of urgency.
1.) Take care of the ball. Win the turnover battle. 2.) It's all about 3rd down. Win on 3rd down to win the game. 3.) Playmakers make plays. The only reason that you put your uniform on is to make plays. In order to EARN your paycheck, you must make plays. Learn from the great collapse of 2023.
Thanks, snowwolf and jagfans06.
IMHO, this was a game that was a near perfect storm type in favor of the Lions. Though the Lions created opportunities and took advantage of opportunities, the bounce of the ball went the Lions way. The officiating probably did as well. The Lions were as healthy as the team has been since at least the season opener vs. the Eagles. Thankfully, it looks like Trevor Lawrence didn't suffer a major injury. While there was no doubt about Lawrence's leadership and toughness going into the game, the appreciation for Lawrence amongst his teammates and coaches is very likely that much higher after Lawrence came back into the game, when the Jags got the ball for the first time in the 3rd QTR. Then, was a differential factor on that eventual TD drive.

On any given day, a 0-16 team can beat the brakes off a 16-0 team. The worst teams in the NFL have the best, most elite athletes on the planet. The ol saying “beat teams you’re supposed to beat” is just fanspeak. Playing a winless team at home is no different than playing an undefeated team away. The Jaguars are not “suppose” to win any game. No team is for that matter. That’s why they dress out and play the game. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!

Lions / Vikings should be interesting this week. If they can beat the Vikes at home, Detroit is a team that could actually win out and snag a Wild Card.

Lions are an interesting team right now. But I wonder how long they stick with Goff, he's been playing well but at the same time I feel like he will limit them much like Tannehil limits Ten.

Goff, tannehill and guys like Kirk Cousins are all twins. They need a great supporting cast to be effective. One dimensional QBs that thrive on P/A.
If the Jags can't win it all, the teams I'd like to see win it, in order..
Bills Lions Cardinals Bengals I'd add The Browns to that list, but can't stand Watson.. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today! With that said, I really like the Eagles just because of the Hurts story. Jalen Hurts could have been such a baby and wallowed at being benched by Saben for Tua. But nope. Dude just sucked it up and went and honed his craft. God love a guy like that. Get kicked in the face, get up. Spit out the blood, and keep it moving forward. He's an inspiration. (I also travel a lot to the Philly area, and I gotta say, I like the people of Philly. NO BS. Just straight up dudes that will say what's on their mind) Other than that, I'm right with you. Bills (the nostalgia of Chris Berman's Nobody Circles the Wagons!) Lions (They are truly the Jaguars of the NFC) Bengals (Fellow Cat Bros) I used to be a Dolphin Die hard, grew up when Marino was the BOAT. But honestly, I'm not a big fan of Tua. Dude seems like he's always gotten things handed to him. I'd like to see him work for it a bit more. (12-07-2022, 12:57 PM)carp8dm Wrote:So you believe in a sky friend? Kudos D6.
You gave us one of those new and improved butt whippins. Nothing old fashiones about it. That was a modern day curb stomping. Hate that it came at our expense, but if we had to lose, glad you were a beneficiary. Worst to 1st. Curse Reversed!
Like i said if any non-jag fan deserves for his team to turn things around agianst the Jags its D6. I just wish it would've been more of a cat fight instead of a cat vs new born kittens.
