No thanks, I'd rather him stay at OLB and get Foley back at DT.

Chaisson aint it.

He's out dor the rest of the year, and last year of his contract. But, he's only 27, WANTS to be a Jag, and should come cheap with this injury. Not saying lowball the guy, but this is an injury that knocks the contract down, unfortunately. Even with this injury, I'd love to see them bri g him back, especially if they get him to sign a similar contract to his current one. VERY team friendly deal.

To be fair, recovering from that type of injury will cause any team to lowball him.

I think the Jags can keep him for next year because he is still hurt. No one is signing him for next year, he most likely won't play at all.

Hopefully they work something out and keep it off the cap somehow. Maybe pay him to coach or something for 1 season and then a smaller deal when he is healthy.

I don’t think that’s a thing.

As much as we love Smoot, remember this is the Not For Long league. He’s gone now. Time to start looking for his replacement.

I’m looking for Adam Gotsis to get more run.
Respect the game.  Play with a sense of urgency.

1.)  Take care of the ball.  Win the turnover battle.

2.)  It's all about 3rd down.  Win on 3rd down to win the game.

3.) Playmakers make plays.  The only reason that you put your uniform on is to make plays. In order to EARN your paycheck, you must make plays.

Depending on the rules, the owner can do whatever he wants with coaches. Smoot is a team guy, he may not be the flashiest player but he gives his best every play and doesn't complain.

If they can find a way to pay him outside the cap, you want to take care of those players. He's made $10 million so he doesn't need it but making sure he at least gets league minimum while recovering from an injury this year should be done by the Jags. He was probably looking at $8-10 million with all the inflated salaries.

That simply doesn’t happen. Smoot is gone forever. Accept it.

I'm not expecting any drop-off with the Got. He should be a starter. Glad they kept him around, even if he's like the red-headed stepchild of the D-line rotation for whatever reason.

Dang!  Everybody's been talking about how we need to sign a veteran pass rusher; maybe this is the one.

That’s the point of the video though.

No idea what kinda shape he’s actually in.

This is good news. He was on his way to an 8 sack season, which would have led the team.
