Drag Queens Are Upset About A New Law

#1

As many of you know, and since I've admitted on this message board, I do Drag, but I would NEVER preform in a drag show (I never perform anyway so) in front of an elementary, or even a junior HS kid. Drag Queens always dress outrageously and over the top with makeup and everything else IMO. Myself, I have a very conservative wardrobe so I do not stand out in a crowd. And since I've been dressing more or less Full Time now, even venturing out to my Favorite Tavern, I find that to be an advantage.... anyway......

Let them [BLEEP], exposing children to a life style that they would not understand is a form of child abuse IMO..........

Drag Queens Are Upset About A New Law That Would Ban Them From Performing In Front Of Children

Drag queens in the amazing state of Tennessee are being blocked by Republican lawmakers who want to make it harder for children to witness drag queens performing in front of them. Republican Senator Jack Johnson proposed the drag queen ban back in November, writing the proposed law to block drag queens from performing in front of children – hoping to ensure that children are not “exposed” to the LGBTQ community and sexually explicit material.

I don't think anybody cares about drag queens. That's what they want to do? Cool, who cares..

But why do they want to drag in front on children?!?

Why?!? It makes no sense unless they're pedophiles.

Leave the damn kids alone you pieces of trash!

There's a serious pedo problem in this country and it's not just drag queens though.

That’s my view as well

Indoctrination. Plain and simple.

Indoctrination into what, and for what purpose?

Off topic slightly, but I would be interested in what you think our traditions and values are.

My opinion is, two things- freedom, and money.  Free speech, freedom of religion, democracy, etc, and the desire to make as much money as possible.  That is what I think are the basic western traditions and values.

Let’s not dismiss the groomers. The left denies it, and I would too if in their shoes. But the fact of the matter is if you have adults using overtly sexualized methods to ‘teach’ children, there’s a sexual agenda.

I’m not painting them all with the same brush, but it’s there and they refuse to acknowledge it.

I really don't think any of the rats actually want to sink the ship.  Steer it differently, sure, but they don't want to destroy or eradicate it. And even if they did want to, they are not able. So I think this is a bit of shadowboxing, a bit of excessive worry.

Well, you don't read the literature. It's not because I haven't wasted hours of my life quoting from their philosophers.

You're such an interesting dude. You want to be an intellectual, but every time your ideals are confronted with facts, you fall back on some hope you have created for yourself. I'd really like to see you step out of that paradigm that insulates you from the harsh realities of the world.

What does drag in front of children really mean? I assume this would prohibit a public event at the Jax Landing to occur since it's not an 18 and over requirement. In cases such as that, I think it's a parents discretion whether they want to bring their 15 year old kid to the event or if a kid shows up with their friends so be it.

I think I'm just as outraged as anyone else regarding Desmond.
But legally speaking, I have to admit that much of what he does would be read as "cute" if done at a dance recital by biological girls.
He's getting older, but when this started he presumably had childhood innocence, just imitating what he sees older people doing, not realizing the innuendo.
If we are not willing to enforce that boys are never allowed to behave in ways that girls are always allowed to behave, then we either need to leave Desmond alone or police what goes on at dance recitals a lot more closely.
Of course, the longer this goes on, Desmond himself is at risk of having older members of his audience break the "look but don't touch" rule, and we can only hope his mom is protecting him from that, but that's a separate issue, we don't punish kids for things that happen to them or might happen to them. Unless you think we should start?

How many parents actually know where their kids are at any given time these days? If the Jones' don't want Sam to go to an event but he wants to go all he has to do is "go spend the night with Johnny" whose parents don't have the same reservations and they're off to see a show. Oldest trick in the book.

And that's just one example.

There is exactly zero reason why kids should be exposed to drag. They don't understand it and to have to explain it to a six year old is simply not something parents should have to do. Drag is something for adults who have made a choice, like Drifter has, to do something they have an understanding of. I'm 50 years old and I don't get the appeal of doing it or watching it but I get that people like different things. Kids do not have the ability to process things because they lack life experience that gives them perspective.

Adult things should remain as such. Let kids be kids for crying out loud.

In addition we traditionally value individuality and self-reliance, equality of opportunity, competition and hard work, achievement, the Nuclear Family built around romance and heterosexual monogamy, education, fairness and justice in our laws, and scientific and cultural progress. We also have specific religious values that I'll leave out of this though they are foundational to much of our society itself.

I would say that the attempt to normalize queer lifestyles including pedophelia are part of the process of value eradication. Grooming is certainly one tactic, but it's part of a larger strategy that's led us to over 40% of Gen Z claiming some form of gender queerness, an 35% increase in just a single generation.

8 year olds should not be encouraged to put $1 bills in men's thongs while they spin around on brass poles, neither in public nor in private.

Should we circle back to what he said about an 8 year old Hillary Clinton?

It's a mental illness..
