Interesting tidbit about Apollo 7 is it marked the end of the three astronauts’s careers. They developed colds while in orbit and became quarrelsome and defiant with Mission Control. While all three were slated to fly later Apollo missions, especially Wally Schirra, none ever flew into space again.
