The Jaguars beat KC if...?

The Jaguars hold Travis Kelce under 70 yards receiving.  The offense scores 30+ points. What is the best way this game can play out for the Jaguars? Mahomes just dumbing out like he did against the Colts? Keeping the gorilla that is Chris Jones off our QB?

The Jaguars have a chance if they win the turnover battle by 2, and we play well and they don't.

Mahomes has an off day. If he Mahomes is firing on all cylinders it's hard to see how we win.

Double Chris Jones. Double Kelce. Those are their 2 blue chip game wreckers outside of mahomes. Try and make their impact as little as possible. Also generate pressure with 4 and dare the cheifs to run. If they run its a win for us. I'd be in sub package all game.

If we score more points than them.

Ok John Madden

Looks like Hardman is out for the game. This group of Jaguars needs to realize they have a legitimate shot staring them in the face of doing something this franchise has NEVER done before. We took the scenic route to get here so it will be all the more sweet.

1)  Trevor plays the smartest game of his life - NO COSTLY TURNOVERS!

2)  The D-line gets consistent pressure without blitzing - KEEP MAHOMMES CONTAINED AND COLLAPSE THE POCKET AROUND HIM!
When you get into the endzone, act like you've been there before.

The team plays a complete football game. Offense has to be on point. Defense has to be on point. Special Teams has to be on point.

Kelce channels his inner Bosa and spends the majority of the game jawing at the refs instead of making plays. Bonus points if he gets his butt booted from the game.

That, or we put Mahomes on his butt oftenly.

Need good complementary ball. Lets look like a team that wants to go play for a championship.

Engam has more stats than Kelce.

Jones has no sacks.

The offense needs a full playbook of "run away from Jones" plays.
My fellow southpaw Mark Brunell will probably always be my favorite Jaguar.

The D forces 3-4 field goals in the red zone. Let Mahomes have his yards but not his TDs.

If we win the turnover battle and the Chiefs defense that let 45 year old Tom Brady score 30 on them shows up.
I was wrong about Trent Baalke.

Use the RB screen to slow that pass rush down. Create 2 turnovers on defense. Agnew sets us up with good starting field position. Patterson makes his kicks.

Lawrence has to protect the football. Etienne also has to protect the football. If we can play mistake free ball and get 2, I believe we can win it.

If we win, we’re going to the Super Bowl.

If they convert turnovers into points.

Steal possessions but those steals need to lead to TDS.

1. Jags win special teams as Chiefs are rated at the bottom in this category.

2. Don't let Kadarius Toney hurt you. He rarely is healthy, but is a big weapon when at 100%.

3. Run the ball effectively to limit the opportunities Mahomes has to kill you.

I still really believe it comes down to the pass rush. Josh Allen needs to have his best game as a pro and we'll have a shot.
