Kelce is quick and strong, Peters was quick and strong, Johnson was quick and strong. We just have a bunch of guys that are barely quick, not so strong and injury prone.

Harrison is a good start in the right direction. They're going to have to find a LT in this year's draft in my opinion. I don't Robinson will take a pay cut nor do I think Little is the answer. I would rather see Little or Cleveland back at LG in 2024 with this team adding a stout LT on the opening night of the draft.

Would prefer a Center signed up in March and then we draft another RG in RD2 or RD3 of the draft to replace Scherff while competing with guys like Hance and potentially Hodges if he's back in year two and ready to go from his rookie season.

It's not an easy fix though, for sure. But, they have to start somewhere and it really needs to start in the middle with Fortner getting canned on the sideline. That's the biggest need entering this off season. By a landslide. Problem is, you don't typically see teams drafting Centers that high in RD1.

That's why I think you have to get it done in March, followed by beefing up the LT position early in April. Fuaga & Latham may be on the team's radar on the opening night of the draft. You can probably entertain the idea of swapping Harrison around with one of them as well between RT/LT.

I guess i just miss our power running days. Our Samoan giants at guard just wrecking people.

Same. The running game has been bad enough these past two seasons to where, in my opinion, Doug has to consider a culture shock and entirely different approach moving forward. Even with a personnel change or two, there needs to be a retooling of the system in general.

Lawrence has a great arm, and it's being severely sandbagged due to the inabilities to get the ground game going. I really feel like he could be one of the best, if not, the best play action Quarterback of the NFL if they could change their approach with how they view the running game in general.

This is why I kept saying as soon as he was fired, "Go get Arthur Smith". Arthur knows how to create a running scheme, a running game and uses a wide variety of personnel. It may have been a little too much for him to head coach it all, but, having a lackluster showing at the QB position did him no favors.

Somebody has to fix this running game though. I don't think it's all just on the Center position. It needs to be a mentality moving forward. "We're running this football. We know you know we're running this football. I don't care if it's 3rd and 1 or 4th and 3. If I line up in power? I am getting this first down, come hell or high water".

They need to get Fortner out of there and they need to culture shock the hell out of whatever it was they thought was clearly not working over the last two seasons.

"What do I know of cultured ways, the gilt, the craft and the lie? I, who was born in a naked land and bred in the open sky. The subtle tongue, the sophist guile, they fail when the broadswords sing; Rush in and die, dogs - I was a man before I was a king."
