I didn't like it at first, looked a bit cartoonish, but it's grown on me. The uniforms had a little too much going on, but those dumb two tone helmets were horrible.

Still prefer the previous iconography but I'm a traditionalist. It's all good though, thank goodness we got rid of that damn two tone helmet.
I'm condescending. That means I talk down to you.

Yes that helmet still gives me nightmares.

I remember this like it was yesterday. I was a junior in high school. Holy crap I can't believe it's been 10 years. I remember hating it at first.. It definitely took me a few months to get used to it.

We should have gone full two tone unis. Would have disoriented the opponent.

The new logo is great but those uniforms were a disaster.
I liked the teal number on the white jersey.
Other than that, the current uniforms are better in every way.

The two tone helmet was actually fan service in a way. There were fans on this board that got excited about rumors of a matte black helmet, and fans that were excited about rumors of a gold helmet. So they gave us both. At least that's how I remember it.
My fellow southpaw Mark Brunell will probably always be my favorite Jaguar.

The logo didn't bother me.  I didn't like the two tone helmets.  It looked like they ran out of spray paint.

Agreed.

I would have been okay had they chosen the all matte black or the all gold.

They explained the two-tone helmets as "a Jaguar coming out of the darkness."  That's what they actually said.  Trouble was, the gold was in the back, and the black was in the front, which meant that the Jaguar had to be going into the darkness, not coming out of it.  Unless, of course, he was coming out of the darkness backwards.

The whole theme of "going into the darkness" was kind of appropriate, when you think about it.

It was solely to help Blaine Gabbert figure out if the receiver was looking at him or not.

So true, a perfect metaphor for those teams, except for 2017.

Looks a lot better when they are winning. When you're the worst team in the NFL for 2 years in a row and the 2nd to the worst team in the decade (2010-2020), nothing really looks good.

Think I've told this story on here before but I had the original logo sticker on my truck and then added the new logo next to it. At a college tailgate and my buddy brought his parents along who were in town. We were getting some stuff out of my truck and the old man says "hey you got a guy jaguar and a girl jaguar" as he pointed to the new logo as the girl. Never thought about it before then but now I have a hard time unseeing it.

I've seen a lot of two tone helmets in college that I think look good. They usually have a much slower fade to them or if they do have a more immediate transition likes ours did, it is much farther back in the helmet. Having such an immediate transition right down the middle was just a bad look.

I still like the original logo better, but I agree that at least the helmets are back to normal.

I couldn't stand this logo.. It made the Jag look, somewhat, mentally ill.

Absolutely love the new one.

I think the new logo vs old logo debate is a wash, the issue is the old logo is associated with the OG jerseys which are universally loved by the fanbase and something we'd all like to see come back, even as a once-a-year throwback.
