Instead of a sign that says "Do Not Disturb" I need one that says "Already Disturbed Proceed With Caution."

When the Ohio one happened, there were was a lot of data reporting that nearly 1 leak per day via train in US and about 17 leaks due to derailments per year over the past decade.

Another one happening is probably neither a coincidence nor conspiracy.

Depends. There are certainly a lot of derailments but that doesn't mean trains are crashing and spilling a bunch of toxic chemicals or purposely lighting those chemicals on fire. Most of the derailments are the wheels coming off the track and being fixed without issues. They even have derailment stands to cause it at low speeds. The 1,000s number was never broken down by passenger train, injuries, deaths, spills, etc.

There is definitely a push to cut the workforce, cut downtime for repairs and safety inspections, and increase the train size and speed to make up for the higher costs.
