34 state have historically used drop boxes with no issue over the course of many elections.
It was never a problem until someone falsely accused them of being a problem and a bunch of folks decided to believe the lie. Thankfully, there are many ways to safely get your ballot counted, and you can choose how you do it. Don't trust ballot boxes even thought they are safe and secure? Fine. Don't use them.

If that hadn't been proven patently false in every state that it was challenged in, you'd have a point. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
