Where did "eminent" come from? The word I always see is imminent.

It makes sense for those of us who understand logic. That extra roster spot gives Dave the opportunity to bring in another guy to evaluate and possibly join the 53. Why would he not take advantage of a free roster spot?

Because he's not required to cut past 75. Historically, when a team cuts to 74 at this point, it's because they're singing someone to jump back to 75 to maximize roster space while they can

It does make sense. If he wants to get a few days to look at someone who just got caught somewhere else.


It makes just as much sense to sign someone now as it does to not sign them. Just bc it doesn't make sense to YOU, doesn't mean it doesn't make sense to everyone else
