Keeping Baalke = Depressing Year

#1

He neglected the single most important pieces behind Trevor.

The lines.

Khan making a partial sweep once again doomed the Jags. Baalke drafted terribly this past year. no good roster gets blown out, at home, by a rookie QB, rookie HC, makeshift o-line, and porous defense

We may have failed Trevor, and wasted a year of more for a QB that could have vaulted this Franchise new heights.

It’s the offense. The defense can only do so much without help.

Think about that for a second.   It's depressing.

The offensive line, especially the interior, and pass rush have clearly been under addressed. Or the talent evaluation has been poor… or both. This team cannot win in the trenches.

Walker still has time to develop but not looking too good at the moment.

Stroud has been sacked 11 times in 3 games. Zero against the Jags. That all out blitz at the end was laughable

I'll wait to see how we do against the not-Texans, cause we always screw up against them for some reason... it's like the Colts playing in Jacksonville at this point. But Baalke not building an o-line around Trevor is certainly a cause for concern. I feel like we'd be doing better if we had taken Hutchison.
I was wrong about Trent Baalke.

That is one of the most concerning stats out of this whole debacle … because I don’t think this is fixable .

You're correct, Travon was not the right pick. It should've been Oline or the most pro-ready pass rusher, not the project.

If we win this season, it will be in spite of Baalke and thanks to Peterson's masterful coaching. Our players are just not good, and he doesn't bring in or select the right talent.

Baalke is still an enigma

He's done lots of good things and he's neglected some roster spots - but this loss - and last week's - could have been readily prevented by the guys who are on the roster currently

You got this exactly right. Regardless of how good a team's "skill" players are, games are won by teams who can protect their quarterback and pressure the opposing quarterback. Baalke had the opportunity to address both these areas in the draft and free agency and failed.

I don't think Baalke has been that good. Not even impressed with his drafting. I'm still ready for him to be gone.

Balkie was getting so much love at the end of the preseason. I didn’t see this coming lol

Because people are [BLEEP].

Two years ago he had a draft that filled with obvious picks that dropped due to injuries. This past draft was [BLEEP].

Baalke isn't good. He will never be good.

I agree with Balke having made some major mistakes.

I'm just curious who you guys consider being slam dunk GM's in the NFL right now?

It is easy to look at the roster and go after the GM. He did okay with the free agents overall but the drafts have been blah. How long have we been waiting for the lines to develop or get the proper attention?

All I can do is watch.

Fans deserve better. Thanks for all the good times too many are in the past.

John Lynch. It's impressive what they did in San Francisco. They failed twice with the QB position, involving major draft capitol and they're still managing to stay afloat after investing in the QB position in later rounds.

I would say Philadelphia as well. With Howie Roseman. The patience and landing value pick after value pick after value pick makes me absolutely sick.
