No, it will be if our front office acts like the portion of our fanbase that doesn't understand how NFL contracts and talent management work. I get it, you've never really had talent to manage so this is new to you, but trust me, keeping the players you draft high and who play like superstars is one of the key components of a successful franchise over the long term.

Josh Allen is a star but he hasn't been consistent enough to make him the highest paid player in NFL history, sorry.  This is one of the reasons the tag is an option.  Tag him and see if he can have another season like this year and then talk next year if he wants that.
