Why does no one consider this a real possibility?
Mainly because he hasn't shown the ability to do so and that's especially true with regards to the Oline.

Harrison was a great pick. No one can question that. But Fortner, the serious lack of a plan with LG and the botching of multiple draft picks in the 2023 drafts says it will be difficult for him.

If Baalke does do what you say (I have no faith that he will), then I'll gladly admit I was wrong.
