We've drafted four receivers since 2020. Three of them are gone between Colin Johnson, Leviska Shenault and Jalen Camp. We just took another one in RD6 last year in Parker Washington. 

We're now entering 2024 with Zay Jones coming back from various injuries and missing half a season.
Christian Kirk missing the final five games of last season.
Jamaal Agnew coming back from IR again.

We don't have anybody really that officially jumps off the paper at you and scares you. Especially with Ridley having the ability to test the market. Because Baalke didn't get something done sooner with Allen. Because he lacks the foresight and abilities to get it done. 

Said it in another thread. Don't hold your breath and don't get your hopes up with Baalke having yet another off season to [BLEEP] this team up some more. Because it's inevitable. It's year four of Lawrence's rookie deal and we're stalling out. 

Wholesale changes are on the horizon if they get stuck at 9 - 8 and miss the play-off's for the second straight year in a row. It's bothered me that Khan has done nothing to improve the backend and front office for this franchise. If Coughlin's little stint and PR nightmare has made him gun shy from hiring a proper VP of Football Operations?

We're doomed. I feel like that's officially the missing piece to the puzzle now. A competent mediator and overseer that knows football, that knows personnel, that knows roster building, that knows coaching and knows cap management sitting at the top of the food chain to keep the personnel department and coaching staff in check. To have final say in concering issues.

I'm simply saying we need drafted players (wr) to start becoming useful.. I wasn't just referring to the players currently on the roster. We seem to go to FA for WR quite a bit and it's expensive. The same statement can be applied to every position group really. Settle down.

Lots of cap space in 2025. Maybe this is a year to reset a bit and build from the inside first. Improve the defense and develop some offensive draft picks. Next offseason get trevor signed. I don't think many people believe we have a series of moves we can make this year that let us compete for the Superbowl. If that's the case it's probably not a good idea to play patchwork again to maybe make the playoffs.
