Cool.

So watch the US fall because we cannot compete with slave labor. Period.

That's a gray area.  We impose tariffs and sanctions on foreign corporations that are known to produce their exports with prison labor or other forces labor.  Sometimes we magically look the other way, but sometimes we don't.

Kari is good enough to probably win the Republican primary. She did before.
She is probably going to lose in the general, as she did before.
That's a pretty crappy candidate.
A rational Republican party in a winnable state only wants to nominate candidates who can win.

Yep, we sanction the hell out of Nike and Apple.

I know they're US companies.. but they are part of the problem.

Another part of the problem is we don't make anything anymore. We are a country of salespeople

There are suppliers in China that Nike and Apple and other companies that wish to market in the US are no longer able to work with. A lot of it is connected to Xinjiang where most of the forced labor in China is taking place.

They have literal concentration camps..

Forced labor is a vacation in comparison.

It's just impossible to deal with a country like that

I love it when you get honest and come out with it in the open.  Violent disobedience is what you want. Revolution.  But only from people you agree with!

An educated populace with integrity should prevent this from ever happening. I think we could still do it if enough citizens became outraged about our current state of politics. Unfortunately, we have a largely placated population, as evidenced in this thread. Trump isn't the answer, but he's not the enemy. The sooner people realized that and put in an American first President and politicians, we could start righting the ship. Not people with a D next to their name. Not people with an R. Just people who believe in the constitution, meritocracy, transparency, and equality under the law.

You're right that the liberals over-emphasize Trump's monetary corruption, when their own house is absolutely filthy in terms of politicians getting rich off power.

You're wrong that this is even in the top ten list of current problems for the government to solve, and you're wrong that we can actually solve it.  Even the violent revolution FSG wants will just leave a new class skimming from the top.

I was responding to NYC's take that "rednecks" have no hope of correcting this government by force. It's been said before and it was just as wrong back then.

I don't want a civil war, but it seems it will be foisted upon us no less. Rather get it over with so we can get the rebuilding underway.

The immoral things Marty defends? Is he the one defending a President who has been divorced twice and cheated on his then-pregnant third wife with a porn star?

Two things, the “you” wasn’t directed at Marty, more self inflection for all to consider.  I could have phrased it better.  Second, not everything is about Trump.  You have to get that man out of your head.
