Every government and every society in all of human history has had some level of corruption.  Any student of history knows this.  And any student of history knows that our society and government is no more corrupt now than it has been in the past. 

Governments are run by human beings, with all their inherent weaknesses.  No party or faction has a monopoly on greed and dishonesty.  It's just something we have to deal with.  It will never stop.  Make laws and try to enforce them.  That's all you can do.

Do powerful people have a "globalist agenda?"  It depends on your definition of globalist agenda.  A lot of powerful people believe in free trade, because they are capitalists, and they believe, with a lot of justification, that free trade is not only good for them, but good for everyone in general.

There are suppliers in China that Nike and Apple and other companies that wish to market in the US are no longer able to work with. A lot of it is connected to Xinjiang where most of the forced labor in China is taking place.

They have literal concentration camps..

An educated populace with integrity should prevent this from ever happening. I think we could still do it if enough citizens became outraged about our current state of politics. Unfortunately, we have a largely placated population, as evidenced in this thread. Trump isn't the answer, but he's not the enemy. The sooner people realized that and put in an American first President and politicians, we could start righting the ship. Not people with a D next to their name. Not people with an R. Just people who believe in the constitution, meritocracy, transparency, and equality under the law.

You're right that the liberals over-emphasize Trump's monetary corruption, when their own house is absolutely filthy in terms of politicians getting rich off power.

I was responding to NYC's take that "rednecks" have no hope of correcting this government by force. It's been said before and it was just as wrong back then.
