Do powerful people have a "globalist agenda?"  It depends on your definition of globalist agenda.  A lot of powerful people believe in free trade, because they are capitalists, and they believe, with a lot of justification, that free trade is not only good for them, but good for everyone in general.

Morality kept the inherent weakness of man in check.  As society has continued to redefine what is moral and just corruption itself has been redefined.  The very things you defend and justify today, 50 years ago would be considered unacceptable.

What do I defend and justify today that you are referring to?  Give some examples.

At the very least, it's a rationalization of something very, very broken. You are an enabler. Doesn't matter if you defend it or not.

Two things, the “you” wasn’t directed at Marty, more self inflection for all to consider.  I could have phrased it better.  Second, not everything is about Trump.  You have to get that man out of your head.

Get him off the Republican ticket and I'll get him out of my head in a jiffy.

As I stated, it wasn’t directed at you, just poorly worded.

It's supposedly your party, why don't you get him off the ticket? Oh, because the real Republicans want to win while you and your running buddies just want to "play nice."

This is a true statement in general.

In this case the more society accepts bad behavior in general the more it desensitizes us to how these folks act who are appointed to these positions.

In a world where television shows like the Real Housewives of Whatever, anything the Kardashians are in, etc., are high ratings shows this mentality. And that's just one form of entertainment, not real life where it's just as bad.

As for the subject of bribery, no matter the candidate if you don't think it's wrong.....

If bribery were allowed...

Then you could take the money and not do it.

Then there's no possibility of blackmail because bribery is legal but with a morality caveat... you can give them money but they are under no obligation to do it.

Yea I know not feasible lol

I'd prefer she give up after her next loss because she's just a moron with terrible policy. Which has always been the case. She's just dumb [BLEEP] MTG or Boebert with a slightly more acceptable demeanor due to her broadcast background.

It must suck for you that progressive minded folks like me outnumber your ridiculous trump-cult by millions and millions.

You are squarely in the minority.

And you are there for a reason.

Your ideology (what little you have left)  is going the way of the dinosaur - and with each generation the gap gets wider as progressive thinkers grow faster in number than conservatives.

You may as well get accustomed to being triggered by my posts because my way of thinking will continue to become the overwhelming reality that surrounds you.

That "modern US military machine" is going to throw a cog when half the rank and file walk off the job. I know you don't accept that result, but when states like Texas are the targets it's unlikely that the troops will just go along with orders to go kill them. They know they can't win and "I was just following orders" went out with Nuremberg.

Good luck with basing your civil war on that hunch

Yeah I don't think there's a path from "I place razor wire" and "No I remove razor wire" to "hey stop I will shoot you" and "no I shoot you first."

This is mostly theater and bluster about if Article 2 of the US constitution actually means what it says.  There is zero will to follow through on any relevant level.

Why wait? The elites already have the tacit support of our "educated" class. What Trump says about his base is doubly true for the establishment. It's been shown time and time again. The only time our lemming moderates can get upset is when something is rolled out in front of their TV screens.

Civil war talk is stupid, regardless.
