https://twitter.com/Demetrius82/status/1...9488041153 That sucks. I can only guess they didn't like something with his rehab/recovery form the injury. He seemed like a no-brainer to me. I wonder if they are looking to spend more cap and wanted the cushion? He was easily our 4ht best receiver in my estimation. We show less advertisements to registered users. I'd say that'll lock Parker Washingtons spot on the roster.
Also means BTJ will be starting Week 1. Thomas and Gabe on the outside with Kirk in the slot.
Also guessing this will be designated Post June 1st cut? Seems like it'll be more beneficial financially that way.

I'm condescending. That means I talk down to you.

Obvious Zay still dealing with an injury. Damn we have a lot of cap space.

11 million for your 4th best WR is bad business.
Josh Cephus will hopefully make the team now. https://twitter.com/E_Dilla/status/1785312378034217330 Would

We also signed a new kick returner (which is what gave him an edge in making the roster last year). He flashed in one game playing for Kirk. Interesting decision. I was wrong in the predicted roster thread.
Hopefully this means they can begin targeting a veteran EDGE or maybe even a veteran OG. Sent from my SM-S906U using Tapatalk ![]() "What do I know of cultured ways, the gilt, the craft and the lie? Kicker Joey Slye also released.
We still have more than 20 millions in cap space. Maybe some more FA are coming (04-30-2024, 10:34 AM)NoShoes Wrote:(04-30-2024, 10:21 AM)HardcoreMoJagFan Wrote: We probably won't when Trevor's contract details are released later this off-season. I don't think that's how it works. Is there some rule that a new deal can't be reached once a 5th year option is designated? I doubt that. Pretty sure if they want to extend him now, they can. And it would supplant the option immediately.

The 2023 drops were a mild concern.

He was shopped and literally no one wanted him. 11 million for a 4th string WR who has bad drops is not it. He's made some amazing catches here in Jacksonville but it's time to move on. Thanks for 2022 and I wish you the best of luck. |
