I think the supposed demise of ETN is premature.  He's not getting the same amount of volume because Tank has ascended which is a good thing for the team and for ETN's longevity.  He'll have his share of explosive plays to close out the year. I'd like to see him get more work in the passing game to get him open in space.

Naw ETN had almost triple the snap count that Tank had before ETN got hurt (this season). Tank still was the better runner and player (in his limited amounts) before ETN was limited. It should be Tank as the #1 going forward, even when ETN comes back.

That's exactly it. These guys are night and day. Tank thrives in the crowded middle, and ETN is made for the sideline to sideline offense. We've found that simplifying the scheme helps the blocking up front, which caters to Tank's style of play. ETN is going to become the gadget guy.

There's still a place for him, but he may not be the workhorse we expected him to become. I hope he's big enough to accept the shifting of roles, because I really think he could do great work in that open space while Tank is carrying the load of our rushing offense.

I assume another moderator shut it down because 90% of this fanbase was convinced he was the worst draft selection ever and declared him a bust after a lackluster rookie outing that included a couple of flukey turnovers - and the thread had devolved into a hate rally. 

This thread - at least for now - will have a different tone.

I didn't watch the entire Philly game, I was in Texas. By the way, just thank your lucky stars you don't live in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. That city is terribly organized. The roads are trash, the views are depressing, the mosquitoes are relentless, and driving on the highways and city streets is like living in the Road Warrior. I thought Jacksonville drivers were crazy. No. NOT AT ALL. We drive like we're Driving Miss Daisy compared to the maniacs in DFW!!!!

Anyways, from the few moments I was able to watch the game on my phone, it was like Tank wasn't even in the game. I kept thinking to myself, was Tank injured? Why is he not playing more snaps?

Why the heck was Tank so invisible on Sunday? He always seemed to be on the bench during the most important plays. Why we didn't use him more is something I can't understand. Please, someone, tell me what happened... Did something happen in the 1st half that caused him to not be more of a weapon on Sunday?
