Trades should happen before the deadline.

#1

Kirk is out for the year. And this defense gives me no confidence that they can stop the Eagles offense. I already expect another loss. With that in mind, we need to try a move some veterans before the deadline. And start the younger guys to get some experience in on a lost season.

Notable vets to move:

- Brandon Scherff (Hodges starts)
- Cam Robinson (Little starts)
- Foyesade Oluokun (Miller starts)
- Travis Etienne (Bigsby starts)

Wild card:

- Devin Lloyd (Muma starts)

I wouldn't want to move Foye. Problem here is even if he is  present, he doesn't fix the coaching on defense. Might as well let Miller go through his trial. Teams will be interested in grabbing a player like Foye if they are making a playoff run.

I don't expect much to happen before the Eagles game. A few of these players will not fetch much. Better than nothing. The other few should grab a reasonable draft pick(s).

I wouldn't trade anyone that is capable of contributing any good snaps - and is still under contract in 2025.
I'd want the next regime to be able to decide what to do with them.

Why would teams take on Etienne or Cam given the recent injuries? Also I think Foye is overpaid to net much in a trade.

Foye is literally the only LB on this roster than doesn't suck when forced to cover.
Great player in general and a vocal leader on defense.

His name shouldn't be anywhere near a list of players to trade.

This is ridiculous. Any player that is worth a trade would be replaced by a 4th or less draft pick. Other then that, what are we talking about? Trading a CB for cap space?

Ya'll are crazy

I would NOT trade etn. The guy is a play maker. Don’t be fooled by THIS season under THIS staff. Out of that list, I would only consider trading cam and sheriff. All the other players, will be good in the future.

Etienne I can understand. His value is falling. Cam, on the other hand, is a LT. Teams will be interested.

This is true also. You will be giving talent away for nothing picks.

I agree with all your points. I was just responding to the initial list.

I'd trade Cam Robinson, because it's obvious that Little is a good Tackle.

But there is no other player I'd get rid of for a 5th or further rounder. I don't get this thread. This is a loser thread, Ya'll honeststly think we have to blow up the team and rebuild??? That's crazy talk. We have enough talent, we just need better coaching.

Yes, sorry, I should have quoted OP for that comment to be clear.

Y’all can do whatever you won’t, but I ain’t trading Oluokun. Dude is on pace to shatter the Jaguars career all-time tackle record. The modern day Sam Mills, Vaughan Johnson, Pat Swilling, Rickey Jackson - Dome Patrol with a little bit of London Fletcher.

The only person I could see being traded is Cam maybe for a 5th tops

I want to keep Travis as a spell back next year

I love quality backups, but if you can get a good pick, I'd trade Cam and ETN. I would not trade Foye.

Little is better than Cam.  If we could get a 6th for Robinson, I'd take it.  Not sure anyone would actually bite on that bait, though.

ETN is a fan favorite.  But, yeah, I'd cut bait on him too...

Walker Little looks pretty dog on good after this game and the half he played in London.  Robinson is expendable.  Thank goodness.

Oluokun and ETN ?

Our best LB against the pass and a good RB.

I would trade Cisco and Hamilton.

If Baalke is not coming back you can't let him make trades now. That's like letting Caldwell take Henderson and Chaisson all over again.

So I fully expect to see multiple trades this week.

Exactly. When the Jaguars let Caldwell flush those picks it was a huge mistake. Allowing Baalke to do anything right now would be similar malpractice.

Khan needs to finally make a decisive move. Even if he doesn't fire Baalke right now he needs to take over all team management until he finds the next GM. He can't let that clown do more damage at this point.

I wouldn’t trade anyone really.
Let’s not do the 2013 Dave Caldwell thing where he traded or chose not to re sign hardly anyone that was a decent vet.

I am curious for anyone willing to look this up, because I am too lazy to do so this morning lol, but the packers 2 biggest free agent acquisitions this past offseason were Xavier McKinney and Josh Jacobs… they clearly upgraded over Savage.

How much money did they spend on those two alone?

Our biggest free agent acquisitions were Savage, Darby to replace Rayshawn and Williams. Armstead who we have no idea how to use, and Gabe Davis bluhhh,  how much money did we spend on these guys?

That will tell us all we need to know about how this front office evaluates and values personnel compared to a good FO.

Yeah I don’t want these guys making any more decisions for our personnel.
