I gave Shad a ton of crap about keeping Baalke and losing out on their targeted coach. Ben Johnson was never on the table because Chicago and Ben had that worked out a long time ago. How else do you explain one day after his loss he gets the job in Chicago. Good Job Shad with firing Baalke and attempting to get a good young OC with your young Qb. It it fails this is not on Shad because I think most right now are in agreement this is a good move.
It's pretty much a done deal. There is just too much smoke here to not see the fire. It's reported in many circles and now Schefter is reporting it. I think this is a great move to get a new culture here in Jacksonville. An offensive minded coach who has already proven he can fix broken QB's in Mayfield maybe what the doctor orders. They were interested in another job, our company offered a generous retention and the other company sweetened their offer where they couldn't refuse. Wasnt my top choice but very happy we got Coen instead of Saleh and a few others. I love that the run game is very important in his offense. I wonder how he feels about Etienne and Tank? I think we draft another RB possibly in the 3rd
