Trump lies & exaggerations - par for the course?

There are facts, and then there are "trump" tales.

Serious question here, "Does donald even care about fact-checking?" I realize his typical supporter doesn't care, but the guy can't spout lies and expect the rest of us to nod in agreement. Right??

Why don't you start another 10 or 12 threads about Trump, we clearly need more "Trump bad, I hate Trump" threads around here.

Of course he expects it. Or he doesn't care. Either way is bad business. The more I see and hear about him and Clinton the more I'm convinced this country is screwed. They are equally abhorrent just in different ways.

Trump lives rent free in your head.  I guess that's a good thing because it forces you to ignore the truth about your girl in the pantsuit.

I'm real curious about that $20M donation to St. Jude's Children's Hospital nobody seems to be able to locate. Lying about Obama's birthplace and lying about helping kids with cancer are two vastly different things.

Lying about Obama's birthplace- there are layers and layers of lies from Trump on that subject.   He said he had investigators in Hawaii who had uncovered all sorts of incredible stuff.   He never produced any evidence and now there is doubt about whether he actually had investigators there at all.

It's a whole new level of dishonesty.   One lie after another.  So many verifiable lies no one can keep track of all of them.   He lies every day, almost every time he opens his mouth he comes out with a statement that is verifiably false.

Here are just a few of them:

Thanks Chachi.. He "pledged" to help raise money over the next 10 years. That's a bit different than giving money to someone. Also, why should Donald take credit for something not even in his name? The perception is quite different from the reality. And the paper trail shows nowhere near the stated amount.

That link says the Eric Trump Foundation has pledged to raise $30 million for St. Jude's,   It does NOT say that Donald Trump donated $20 million.

Yet Trump himself retweets something that calls attention to the media's lack of coverage on his $20M donation.

It just shows that, while he lies all the time, almost every time he opens his mouth, he's not even a good liar.  Whenever someone calls him out on a lie, he tells another lie.   That makes me think maybe there really is something wrong with him mentally.

There is one sure fire way for him to prove he gave $20 million to St. Jude: release his tax returns.

I'm curious to know if the OP plans to start a "Hillary's lies and exaggerations" thread too?  That might actually crash the servers.

Hence, the reason one needs to be proactive and get their own personal servers.   #ForwardThinkin'

If lying was a disqualifier from public office there would not be a single politician in office.
