Thanks Drifter.  I hate watching movies in which I don't know the ending prior to watching it Smile

I reject the premise that a blind man can win a pistol duel at 60 paces.
When you get into the endzone, act like you've been there before.

I started watching Rebellion season 1 on Netflix.  It was about the Irish Easter Rising (1916 revolt against England).  It was soooooo slow that I just turned on YouTube and watched the movie/documentary ---- pretty good and educational

I'm seeing previews for Killers of the Flower Moon and it has a really good cast. I read the book last year and expected kind of a lame movie, but it looks to be good.

It's quite a story, and true. It will be interesting to see how much artistic license they take with the movie. They shouldn't have to. The story itself is very compelling.

Just saw the Creator, absolutely amazing visuals probably the best I've seen in a long time. The story was ok, without getting into spoilers it was a little different then I expected. still worth the watch on the big screen just because of the visuals.

The wife and I watched a couple of crazy, but good ones.

Willy's Wonderful with Nick Cage.. Dude has like 3 or 4 lines in the whole movie, but is the star who the story is centered around.. Check this one out for a non-serious kind of a horror/comedy..

The next one we watched was called Sisu.. Holy hell..
This was John Wick meets Quinten Tarantino meets WWII lolol

Crazy movie, but also really good!!

Watched The Boogieman last night..

A complete Stephen King abortion..

Was not impressed at all.. Almost shut it off..

But, I'm my own critic, so don't take my word for it..

Glad you liked it; personally, I felt a bit ripped off. I too saw it on the big screen, but I didn't see anything particularly groundbreaking. Certainly nothing like seeing Star Wars or Raiders or the Matrix or Inception for the 1st time in a theatre. And to me, the story was disjointed and scattered; they could have done much more with it.

Not a Star Trek fan. At least not a diehard fan. But, this was enjoyable.

Watched The Burial last night on Prime. This was really good, and based on a true story.

Saw the original a while back. Then the remake with Samuel L Jackson. Both were good films......

It looks like a great movie, but I can tell you for sure, Napoleon never led a cavalry charge.

True..

But honestly, just thrilled by the thought of a really good movie.. Hollywood's been puttin out some pretty sketch stuff lately. Could be because of the strike, idk..

Nor should he have. It would have been foolish.

That sort of thing went out with Alexander the Great, around 330 BC.  Alexander was not only a great commander, he was also a great warrior, who led from the front, but he was about the last one to do it.

I watched the movie Network last night. I had not seen it in ages. Peter Finch as Howard Beale was incredible. William Holden in his waning day played a good part, but his romance with a so much younger Faye Dunaway was a little creepy. This was Peter Finch's last movie appearance. He died not long after.

Watch this acting by Peter Finch as he plays Howard Beale in the throes of losing his mind. The way the director plays the light across his left eye while it remains open and distant while he talks and expresses with his brows is movie brilliance.
