Presidential Debates During NFL Games?

#1

So what. That's why they invented TIVO and DVRs.

But. The Donald doesn't like and in fact, claims the NFL contacted him and doesn't like it either.

Update.

The NFL claims they have not been in contact with Mr.Trump.

In conclusion, as so many denounce Clinton and call her a liar...can we now agree that the pot indeed is calling the kettle....unlike the NFL which made no calls.

It amazes me that a person will knowingly lie, and must know that these lies can be proven. Sure , politicians lie. But you gotta be pretty stupid, arrogant and ignorant to do so when you know your lie can be easily proven or disproven.

Debate will draw higher ratings than an NFL game. It is must see TV.

It's pretty clear that Trump just makes stuff up as he goes along. He's been rich for so long that he's used to people always saying "Whatever you say, boss."

When he gets called on stuff he just defaults to lying about it.

He attempts to reach new lows each week. His actions regarding the Muslim parents who lost their son in combat is a particular sleazy moment.

You just wonder if he'll reach a point where even some of his supporters will say enough is enough.

I thought that point was already passed when he alleged he could gun down a man in broad daylight and not lose support.

Dems know they cannot win debates on fact.  So, they attempt to do what they always do.  Bury it where no one will watch.

Nope.  Though it should, I would bet that there are far more people in the country wanting to watch an NFL game vs. a political debate.  Me personally, if I have a choice between watching a debate and watching a game, the game wins.

Trump does have a point though.  What can't debates be held on say Tuesdays at 9:00 EST?

Same tactics they colluded with a sympathetic media to bern Bernie.  Just as the emails exposed.

So much hiding and deception of the public.  Trustworthy for sure.

Yep. Just like those who pledged to support Trump, then crawfished.

Political trust is an oxymoron, that fits both, not your personal choosing.

Nor yours.

You can't even pretend that she's more trustworthy.  If you were to be honest with yourself.

Not in my house- if I had network TV. There's nothing either of them have to say that I want to hear because it's all lies anyway.

On Friday GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump took to Twitter to complain about the debate schedule between him and Democrat Hillary Clinton. The dates and times were set a year ago by the Commission on Presidential Debates, which is composed of both Democrats and Republicans. But Trump blamed the fact that two of them were scheduled at the same time as NFL games on Hillary and the Democratic party. He even claimed the NFL sent him a letter to complain about the schedule — a claim the league has said is n

Speculation has begun that Trump is trying to find a way to get out of debating Hillary. On Sunday morning, Republican party chairman Reince Priebus indicated that if his candidate doesn’t want to debate, the party will back his decision.

Yeah, not like a bi-partisan committee planned the debate dates a year ago when the candidates weren't even known or anything.   Rolleyes

I was wrong about Trent Baalke.

So what happened to Brady, Big Ben, and Tebow speaking at the RNC?

Cant wait to see the letter Trump has claiming the NFL is complaining about the debates being scheduled during football games.
