Roberto Aguayo missing FGs

Apparently he went 5 of 7. Maybe he's just a little rusty, but not a good start for the Bucs.

They traded 2 picks to move up and get him while we grabbed Yannick and Day...

Trading 2 picks to move up and take a kicker in the 2nd round?

He better not miss a kick all year.

You're right, and everyone knows it, including him. I'm sure there's plenty of pressure that comes with that for a guy his age. Hope he can rise above it, he's a talented kicker.

Looking into crystal ball: He has a miserable rookie year and is cut by Tampa, comes to our camp next year and becomes our Vinnateri, DC given keys to city and lifetime contract

Even if he's released.

It was so funny to see FSU fans defend the pick saying what a great pick it was and that it was good value just because he played at FSU.

It sucks that people expect a kicker who was traded up for in the 2nd round to be perfect? Alright, Gene.

No hes a rookie just like any other, Its not his fault he was drafted far beyond his actual value.

You're right. It isn't HIS fault he was way over drafted.

That being said... you take any sort of kicker with a high (1-3) draft pick... you better make sure he's automatic...

Big deal.  How many kicks did Josh Scobee miss in underwear practice his first season in the NFL?

We didn't trade 2 picks to take Scobee in the 2nd.

Sure it's not Aguayo's fault he was taken that high. In fact I'm a big defender of Alualu being wrongfully hated bc he was a first rounder. But it IS expected of the "best kicker in NCAA history" to be automatic.

Fun fact: Seth Marler was a Lou Groza Award winner.
