Chicago Bears first-round draft pick Leonard Floyd departed the first practice of training camp Thursday morning on a cart.
 
The nature and severity of Floyd's problem was not immediately public knowledge. Coach John Fox is expected to answer questions from media about Floyd's condition after practice around noon.
 
The club's media policy prohibits reporters from providing a more detailed description of what happened until after Fox's media session.
 
The Bears had been on the field for approximately one hour before Floyd left.
