Jordy Nelson had 'hiccup' with left knee; no timetable for return........

He claims he'll probably miss all of training came, but believes he'll be ready for game 1 vs. Jags. It's not the knee he injured last season ( ACL ).

P..S. Sorry, didn't see this already posted on NFL At Large......

Jordy Nelson is the type of WR that kills us.

If I recall correctly last year we struggled against shifty little WRs that run good routes, fast WRs, big TEs, WRs wearing numbers beginning with the number 1 or 8, and WRs & TEs that repesented teams north of Jacksonville.

If he can convince his knee to hold it's breath for 25 seconds the hiccup will most likely go away.

The Packers have 5 preseason games so they can hold him out until the last game to get his conditioning in.

Hope he's healthy come season opener. Dont like playing against opponents who are not at their best physically.

Ain't nothing wrong with getting breaks but I wouldn't mind having our secondary be tested with opponents at full strength.

Pshhhh. A W is a W. I'd be thrilled if every team we played had their best wr on the bench.
IT WAS ALWAYS THE JAGS

Julian Edelman killed us last year in our game against New England. Wes Welker also gave our defense fits in the past too-so I believe your point is accurate.

Don't worry I get ya.

Be great to see how we match up man to man against a full strength play off team like the Vikings.

I don't want him out of this game. I want him in there. I don't want to shy away from big name players. When you beat them while they're out there it's even more sweeter.

Read my post the entire way through.  Hopkins falls into the "fast WRs" that I referenced.

Meh, I'd be OK going against a Jordy-less Pack.

I'd be more than OK with it.

Come to think of it... I'd be OK going against a Rodgers-less pack too!
