Someone said it best on TV last night. Cruz' campaign made a monster error drafting behind Trump the first 6 months to eliminate everybody else. He assumed he could take him down and it completely backfired. I understand Cruz being upset because of this, but affecting his future potential candidacy wasn't a bright idea either by ignoring a pledge.

You talk about RINOs, but you don't seem to realize, Trump is the biggest RINO of them all.   Saying Social Security and Medicare are untouchable?   Calling for a trade war?   Calling for a lockout of Muslims?   Calling for Japan and Saudi Arabia and South Korea to have nuclear weapons?  Saying he might re-negotiate the national debt?  None of these are Republican positions, so I would say he definitely fits the moniker "Republican In Name Only."  

 

Then just the other day he said he might not defend our Nato allies in Eastern Europe if the Russians invaded them.   He'd first check and see if they had paid their Nato dues!   Is that what you call a Republican?

When you say they were removed, it implies Ted and Heidi Cruz were forced to leave by authorities against their will, when the truth is the crowd shouted him down and booed him off the stage, and heckled his wife to the point they needed an escort to clear the way out and protect them from potential harm. There were no real conservatives running in 2016.  Not even Rand.  I dunno what Trump is and I'm not voting for him.  But I do have to cheer for a guy who is hated by both parties and the mainstream media.  Chances of a disastrous Trump presidency are likely 90%.  But that number rises to 100% for Hillary.
