What are Gator fans expectations for the 2016 season?

#1

Prior to Will Grier's suspension last year, Florida looked like a potential final four team. Some close wins over average teams like East Carolina and Kentucky. But still undefeated with a win over Ole Miss.

But once Grier was gone, the wheels fell off. Three straight losses to end the year. A near loss to Florida Atlantic.

What are the expectations going into the year? The quarterback situation still appears to be a mess but there are plenty of options. They loss some talent on a very good defense too. Hargreaves, Keanu Neal, Jonathan Bullard.

The schedule starts out pretty easy with a few out of conference cupcakes and Kentucky. But then there is a trip to Knoxville against a team they have owned for a decade.

Looking at the schedule, I see probably three or four losses.

Would Gator fans be happy with an 8-4/9-3 record and another trip to a Outback or Citrus Bowl? Only if one of the underclassman QB's emerges?

I'd be happy with 9-3. I see us losing to UT, FSU, and at Arkansas. There is one game on the schedule I want to win more than any other and that is USCe. I want to destroy them. The Chump losing 99-0 would make me a happy man.

Pre-season, every year it always feels like it may be the year that UF finally loses to UT, but it never happens

I'd like to see Franks develop and take the reins if the gators aren't gonna make the playoffs.
Coughlin when asked if winning will be a focus: "What the hell else is there? This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."

For our offense to score more points than the defense.

I just hope that offense becomes more watchable.  it was patch work at times last year and they somehow pulled out victories that they probably shouldn't have.

Hail, as bad as many UF fans are, you're worse than all of them.

Heck, I'll even spot UCF 10 points.

Every fan base has their fair share. Everyone of them. No one has the market cornered there. To believe otherwise is foolish.

As one of very few Michigan fans here, I've gotta put in overtime when it comes to jimmy rustlin.

I hope "zero arrests" wasn't on the list...

I highly doubt you will see him considering how raw he is. His mechanics alone will cause him to redshirt.

0-10 last year, new coach, new system....and you want me to take a $50 bet with someone that I've never met personally.  Probably not going to happen.

He seems like one of the more reasonable Gator fans on here.
