I sure am glad that in all the fansty leagues i play in are with friends.  I know i still have a lot to learn,and im not the best player. 

 

Im doing mock drafts to learn so i can do better,and some people in there are calling me an idiot. to bad we can't do a mock draft in our league or can we?

please can someone answer this question now.  I just fineshed a mock draft and my teams projected points tottal ended up putting me forth. is that good for a 12 team mock draft?

The information gathered from doing a mock draft with your league mates would be useless. You wouldn't want to tip your hand on who you want in each round and neither would they which means the real draft wouldn't likely resemble the mock at all. Just do your mock drafts at cbs or ESPN or yahoo or wherever you prefer. If you do a bunch right before your real draft you'll probably get a couple of good mocks to get an idea from. Also, if you're really reaching on players in the early part of the mock that could be why the other drafters are getting upset because the mock isn't realistic. Try to use the pre-generated player rankings as a base and then pick players within maybe the top 15 of best available players until you get past the first 6-8 rounds then the pre-generated rankings become less meaningful. Or keep doing what you're doing and just ignore the angry comments. Public mocks are what they are. You probably need to do a bunch to get a good feel for value. There will always be outlier mocks and drafters. People should know what to expect when they sign up for one. Anyway, good luck in your league.
