Who could be a great Returner for us in draft?

#1

I think what we lack is that home run talent.   A returner that can take it to the house nearly every time gets the ball.  Though that is not realistically possible.  And with the starting point being the 25 yard line now.  Seams like the return game has taken a hit.  But still to have that guy is awesome.

So who is out there. That could make an impact for us in the draft?

Don't forget his skin colour! He's white so will automatically be bad.

Adoree Jackson.  Insurance for the slot if Colvin doesn't re-sign at the end of next season, and an immediate impact return talent in both punting and kicking.

Isaiah Mckenzie - Georgia.

Can be had in 5th/6th round maybe even later.

Had 5 punt return TD and 6 kickoff return TD.

I do like "The Human Joysticks" game but I think him being a 5th/6th rounder is still a reach. At 5'8 170 he's going to be strictly a return specialist, his hands are very questionable. In my opinion, he's a lesser Trindon Holiday (LSU kid that was a similar size but WAAAAY faster) and he went undrafted and is now out of the league. McKenzie could be had as an UDFA

Well NFL is doing everything they can to eliminate kickoffs and anything else dangerous. You can't even leap for a fg block anymore. I don't see any value investing in this position even as a punt returner. Shouldn't be hard to find one in the 7th round, and even if he's great he won't make a difference.

yeah the kick return is being neutered so it doesnt matter. Its getting down there with fullback and long snapper.

He's like a slower version of Dri Archer.

Shoot, why not just sign Dri Archer. He's a FA right now. He can return kicks and if you want speed, he'll blow the doors off.

Meh, I would say or like Sproles the way he is built.  Archer you could tackle with one hand.  Cohen has a lower center of gravity and can break tackles like Sproles, his cuts are insane as well.  Archer is more of a straight line speed guy

Kickoffs being eliminated is a shame. Returns tds are the most exciting plays to me.

Breaking tackles on returns is a bit overrated. By the time you are breaking any tackle, everyone has the angle on you. I think speed/acceleration and vision are what really count in the return game. Archer has plenty of wiggle, he's just so small.
