Favorite song by the following classic bands / muscians

#1

What is your favorite song from the following musicians? Not what you think is their best work, but rather your favorite. If you don't like or are not familiar with an artist just leave it blank.

Beach Boys: "Wouldn't It Be Nice"

Beatles:  "Dear Prudence" (Happiness is a Warm Gun a close second)

Bruce Springsteen: "Pay me my money down" (cover)

Bob Dylan: "Tangled up in Blue" ("Visions of Johanna" a close second)

Credence: "I Put a Spell on You"

Elvis:  "I want you, I need you , I love you"

Out all of these choices it was the hardest picking for Credence. I was born in 1988. But my mom was heavy on these eras so I kind of listened to a lot of these groups growing up. I am also not a big fan of Bruce Springsteen but really three songs stood out. Born In the USA, The Wrestler and Devils and Dust.

Odd list, ok I'll play.

<p style="color:rgb(40,40,40);font-family:helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Beach Boys: "Help Me Rhonda"

<p style="color:rgb(40,40,40);font-family:helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Beatles: "Hey Jude" ("While My Guitar Gently Weeps" and "I Am the Walrus" are right up there though.)

<p style="color:rgb(40,40,40);font-family:helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Bruce Springsteen: "Born To Run"

<p style="color:rgb(40,40,40);font-family:helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Bob Dylan: "She's Your Lover Now" (probably 20 different tracks could have gone here)

<p style="color:rgb(40,40,40);font-family:helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Credence: "Have You Ever Seen the Rain?"

<p style="color:rgb(40,40,40);font-family:helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">Elvis:  "Jailhouse Rock" (I guess, not much of an Elvis fan)

I'm condescending. That means I talk down to you.

I have always considered CCR to have some of the best overall song writing of any band.  They just don't write bad songs.

Go Jags!
*To stay up for atleast 2 years 3/6/17
2016 draft players I think will be good
  • On the Fournette train, will be best back of his class 3/6/17
  • Lattimore please,  Lockdowns on both sides would be nice
  • Engram at TE and the MJD clone Samaje Perine

They really don't. When I was a kid working at Subway we always had it on 96.9 The Eagle and they would probably run through four or five of their songs. Never got old. I was born in the wrong time. Music today is all about the same chorus and bar eating up 1.5 minutes of a 3.0 minute song. It's sad. No more story telling or soulful lyrics in the mainstream today.

Are you saying the lyrics to Get Low aren't inspirational and soulful?
