Stereo question..

Say I have a stereo receiver for a home.. First off its a Kenwood.. It has a a and b channel.. The back of it says 190 watts.. But it also says 200 watts max when CD player is plugged in back of receiver.. My main question is how many watts is it per channel if it says 190 watts on the back.. Remember it has a a and b channel..
