Poor kid. May need season ending surgery.

I would venture to say he won't play this year.

Flacco won the Super Bowl in a contract year, got paid handsomely and that team has gone downhill ever since. They have some real questions on offense

(..and that was about as ugly as a win could get for us last year).
Only a chump boos the home team!

That's a real bummer. Loads of talent. But he's young and he will be back.

That will make 2 years on the shelf. The guy hasn't seen the field since being drafted. I feel for the Ravens fans after knowing what it's like to lose your first rounder and then having the Ramsey scare.

I wonder if they should just make everyone wear a knee brace. It seems like ACL tears are about as common now around the league as pulled hamstrings. I'm sure the WRs and DBs will oppose it but running two tenths less that want they could run without it may be worth it in the grand scheme of things.

Ravens fans have to be seriously frustrated/ bummed about that.

It was disheartening for them last season. And now, looks like another one gone.

I don't think the human knee was ever built to support the freakish athleticism that these guys possess today. Maybe evolution will make the knee ligaments stronger, but until then expect more of the same.

reinforcing one area tends to move the problem

Go Jags!
*To stay up for atleast 2 years 3/6/17
2016 draft players I think will be good
  • On the Fournette train, will be best back of his class 3/6/17
  • Lattimore please,  Lockdowns on both sides would be nice
  • Engram at TE and the MJD clone Samaje Perine

True. ACL's and other soft tissues tear and bruise to prevent injury to bones and joints.

You reinforce knee soft tissues and you'll likely see an increase in leg breaks/etc.

Update:

Perriman did not tear his ACL, received stem cell injection and expected to be ready for the season.
