JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) — The Jacksonville Jaguars have signed second-round draft pick Myles Jack.

Under the NFL's rookie slotting system, the former UCLA linebacker signed a four-year deal worth about $6.3 million Friday.

Jack became the fourth of Jacksonville's seven rookies to sign. Cornerback Jalen Ramsey (first round), defensive end Yannick Ngakoue (third) and defensive tackle Sheldon Day (fourth) remain unsigned.

I can't wait to see this kid play. I'm a huge UCLA fan and he was the heart of the defense. Once he got hurt, the defense fell apart. He covers the entire field and I'd love to see him as a RB as well. He was every bit as good as Ezekial Elliott and had he stayed at RB, I believe he might have been chosen ahead of him. He just wants to play LB though. Hopefully the coaches get creative with him on the offense. This kid is dynamic.

Jagboss,

Getting Ramsey and Jack in the same draft reminds me of Buffalo ending up with Shane Conlan and Cornelius Bennett.  I'm stoked just thinking about it.

I'm glad his new CBA is in effect.  One thing I used to hate is seeing holdouts of rookies.  That provided needless stress to teams, rookies and fans.

Bullseye, having Ramsey and Jack allows so many options on the field, like on third down and such.Still amazing we drafted both in the same year

This.

I just imagine how many idiotic agents/family members helped convince kids to holdout before ever stepping on the NFL field.

What cannot be calculated is how much damage has been done to how many careers over rookie holdouts.

For every Emmitt Smith who overcame a rookie holdout, there are several others who wound up busts because they were always behind.
